Leaf spring
I had heard that one could remove certain leaf springs and it will drop the rear in order to level the truck. I tried and it worked!
Before you start, be sure to spray some WD-40 on all the nuts and bolts, and let them soak awhile.
     1. Find a buddy with air tools! Luckily, I work with a guy that does a lot of Hot Roddin', and he has a      plethora of tools.
     2. Jack the rear up and remove tires. Raise the rear some more and put jack stands under the shackle      mount.
     3. With the jacks in place, lower the axle with the floor jack just enough to release the tension on the      springs. Not all the way down!
     4. Remove the U-bolts and plate. May be necessary to clean the threads with a wire brush.
     5. Continue to lower the axle slowly until the springs pop loose. When lowering the axle you may need a      smaller floor jack under the U-joint to keep the housing from tilting.
     6. Remove the leaf spring bolts and work the springs out. Careful, they are heavy. Take the shackles out      if you plan on having new bushings pressed in.
     7. Lay the springs on their sides, and remove the brace bolt.
     8. With the springs still on their side, get a good pair of vice grips and clamp the head of the round bolt.      And remove the nut. The spring will slide a little bit when the nut is off. ((> But not much.
     9. Remove the 3rd and 5th spring up from the bottom. And bolt them back together.
     10. Use a cutting tool and remove some of the main bolt, which is longer now. This is so the cap will fit      back on.
     11. Loose the shackle, if you didn't remove it earlier. Put the spring back on, but don't tighten the nuts all      the way down!
     12. Once you get everything back on and lowered the truck down, then tighten all the nuts down. This      allows the suspension to adjust and not get in a bind.

Check the nuts in a couple of weeks, to make sure they're secure. I also suggest having all 6 rubber bushings replaced with polyurethane pieces. $49 for the bushings and $40 for having the old one pressed out and the new ones pressed in. Well worth it.
